How I use AI
Every idea here is mine. They come from my own writing, from sessions with clients, and from things I've been saying for years.
I draft with AI. Then I read it and cut whatever doesn't sound like me. The arguments, the judgment, and the mistakes are mine.
I check claims against current research. Where a claim rests on a study, I name it and link it.
What I don't use it for
- I don't outsource the thinking. If I haven't thought it, it doesn't go out.
- I don't publish a claim I haven't checked.
- I don't invent examples. The people in these essays are real.
- I don't put identifying client information into any tool. Session content is kept only with explicit consent, and only with everything identifying removed. Declining changes nothing about the coaching.
About the short sentences
I write them on purpose. I used to write long, tangled ones that nobody could follow. Cutting them up is the best thing I've done for my writing—and it's how ADHD thinking gets out of my head in a form someone else can follow.
